The advanced 5-rib tread pattern has 20% more lateral grooves around the circumference of the tire for increased wet and light snow traction.

A newly developed pitch sequence coupled with the advanced tread pattern layout provides lower in-vehicle noise.

Four, wide uninterrupted circumferential grooves provide superior hydroplaning resistance.

The modern tread compound and tread profile provide even wear and a long tread life.

Coupled tread elements in intermediate and shoulder ribs provide tread block stability for precise handling.

CAST is a combination of strategically placed micro-gaugeâ„¢ 3D dimple sipes which have interlocking geometry, variable sipe density and maximized full depth siping. CAST provides 30% more total sipe length and 125% more total sipe length at half worn. CAST allows the tire to maintain wet traction and handling over the lifetime of the tread. CAST also allows for maximized traction while maintaining tread element stability for handling.

Stabiledgeâ„¢ performance controls the movement of the center and intermediate ribs enhancing the overall soft handling and on-center feel of the tire which also provides additional dry traction stability for a crisper response.
